    Ceramic Beginners - Experienced - Wednesday Mornings

    In this invigorating course, beginner students learn basic wheel-throwing and handbuilding ceramic techniques used to create basic pottery forms such as mugs, bowls, and dishes. Experienced students can deepen their pottery knowledge and evolve their skills through various surface designs, forms, and glazing combinations using our new glazes. All supplies are provided, including 5 lbs of clay. Additional clay is available for purchase for $10 per 5 lbs, which includes glazes and OAC firing costs. Student artwork must be picked up within two weeks of the session ending. After that, unclaimed work may be discarded.

    Advanced Ceramics - Friday Mornings

    This advanced ceramics course is for students who have completed at least three OAC ceramics classes and are ready to deepen their practice. Choose to focus on wheel-throwing or handbuilding while working independently on more complex forms. The instructor will offer guidance on refining technique, exploring surface treatments, and expanding glaze application skills. All supplies are provided, including 5 lbs of clay. Additional clay is available for purchase for $10 per 5 lbs, which includes glazes and OAC firing costs. Student artwork must be picked up within two weeks of the session ending.
