By popular demand, OAC is offering a new beginners drawing and painting class. This entry level course is designed to develop each creative beginner at their own pace. Students will have the opportunity to choose which medium to start with.

Marlene was born in Brooklyn, New York and grew up in New Jersey. For the last few decades she has called the ‘north coast’ her home. She lives in Beachwood, Ohio with her husband, James Newman. Marlene retired from a 30 year health care career in 2012 and completed a BFA in Painting and Drawing from the University of Akron’s Myers School of Art in 2016.
