Drawing 101 - Tuesday Mornings
Drawing 101 is back! Learn to draw from scratch, or delve deeper into your skills in this fun course! Learn about various drawing tools and techniques such as shading, perspective, and portraiture while gaining (or further developing) skills and confidence. Drawing is a key foundation skill that will carry throughout your artist journey! All skill levels are welcome! Already taken this class? Enroll in additional sessions to further develop your skills. A supply list will be emailed at the time of registration. Approximate supply cost, depending on materials already owned: $45.
Eddie Mitchell

Eddie Mitchell has been teaching drawing and painting across Northeast Ohio for close to 30 years, at esteemed institutions such as the Cleveland Institute of Art and Lakeland Community College. He is represented by galleries in Ohio, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, and has been commissioned for various and numerous prominent public locations. He has participated in over 185 art shows.
When it comes to his art practice, Mitchell explains, "I love the fact that light engenders a sense of extravagant joy and ingratiating optimism. It is this sense of joy and optimism that I am endeavoring to convey in my paintings. I am also captivated by the magical energy of color, which enhances this play of light and intensifies this feeling of cheerfulness and euphoria."
