In this one-day illustrative workshop, students will explore fun, stylized ways to illustrate a favorite recipe or cherished family dish. Through guided instruction and creative experimentation, participants will learn how illustrators use imagery, lettering, and composition to bring food stories to life on the page. Students will create a finished recipe illustration that reflects personal taste, memory, and tradition—perfect as a keepsake or a thoughtful handmade gift. Open to all skill levels, this workshop celebrates creativity, storytelling, and the joy of sharing food through art. Supplies are provided.

Audrey is an illustrator and poet from Lyndhurst, Ohio. Holding a BFA in Illustration from The Cleveland Institute of Art. Her creative expertise encompasses a blend of both digital and traditional illustration, characterized by a whimsical aesthetic. Audrey draws inspiration from various sources, including the Art Nouveau movement, feminism, astrology, spirituality, and nature.
As a self-published poet, Audrey has written and illustrated two poetry chapbooks. Her literary passions find expression in themes such as women’s rights, ethereal and celestial subjects, and the personification of nature. Audrey seamlessly integrates her illustration into her poetic works, elevating them to a higher level of visual storytelling. Her illustrations mirror her poetic voice, often portraying spiritual concepts and whimsically romantic compositions that captivate and immerse audiences. Audrey has collaborated with esteemed clients such as The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, The Cleveland Orchestra, and the Cleveland Botanical Garden.
