Progress With Chess is excited to offer two class levels to cater to students' interests and needs, ranging from Beginner to Intermediate! Students in the Beginner section will be able to complete a legal game of chess by the end of the session. Students will learn how the pieces move, all of the various rules and caveats of chess, as well as basic checkmating patterns and endgames. Please be advised, Progress with Chess may move your child to intermediate if in the child's best interest.

Students attending Moreland Hills Elementary school must update their SDM notes to attend the program. Students without an updated note will not be able to ride the Rec Bus. Any students who will not be attending a class must email knewman@orangecsd.org to confirm their absence.
