Cartooning + Character Design - Saturday Mornings (3-5): Fall II

Shammah is a Cleveland native and artist whose love for story-driven works and the dynamic visual style of anime led her to pursue a career in animation. Throughout her career, she has had the opportunity to work on projects associated with companies such as Disney and Marvel, as well as create animation and assets for video games.

One of her most notable projects is Enongo, where she worked as an artist and associate producer. The feature is especially significant for its historic all-Black female animation team which is the first of its kind.

Shammah specializes in creating cool, dynamic character poses inspired by anime and games such as Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, and Pokémon. She loves bringing characters to life through personality, movement, and expressive design and is excited to help young artists develop their own characters and discover their unique artistic style.
