Trunk or Treat 2026

Want to host a vehicle at Trunk or Treat?

All participating companies/organizations must agree to the following prior to registering:

Have a decorated vehicle and adult supervising the station at the event - Be as creative as you like with your theme and decorations while keeping young children in mind!
There can be no sale of goods at the event, this includes but is not limited to food, beverages, merchandise, etc.
Provide a trick or treat item for children 12 years and younger.
All candy or food related items must be individually wrapped.
Bring all items needed for your trunk, OCE&R will not provide pop-up tents, tables, chairs, power etc.
Promotional materials can be distributed with accompanying “trick or treat” item.
Vehicles must be in their assigned location at the Pepper Pike Learning Center parking lot and set up by 2:30pm, lot will open at 1pm for setup.
Vendors may leave the parking lot at 5:00pm or once all pedestrians have cleared the parking lot.
We recommend having 2,000 treats on hand so you don’t run out.
Trunks must register to attend no later than October 17 at 4pm.
RUNNING CANDIDATES: Orange City School District Policy 9700 restricts a candidate from distributing literature or promotional materials on campus. No candidates for office may hand out flyers, promotional items, etc.

***PUMPKIN DECORATING CONTEST/OCER SCHOLARSHIP FUNDRAISER*** Register now for our amazing Pumpkin Decorating Contest! Your registration includes a donation to the OCER Scholarship Fund, one large foam pumpkin and a booklet of ideas to get you inspired! (real pumpkins not accepted) Pumpkins can be picked up at the Pepper Pike Learning Center from 7:30 am - 5:30 pm (M -F) from September 22 - October 15. Decorated pumpkins must be dropped off on Thursday, October 22 or Friday, October 23 to be entered in the contest. Pumpkins brought to Trunk or Treat will not be accepted. Trunk or Treat attendees will vote on the best pumpkin; you do not need to be present at Trunk or Treat to win! The winning family will receive a prize - winners announced the Monday after the event.

*** NEW THIS YEAR*** Families who prefer a quieter, more accessible experience are invited to attend our Low-Sensory Soft Launch 30 minutes before Trunk-or-Treat officially begins. During this time, music, costumes, and other sensory elements will be reduced, creating a calmer environment for trick-or treating and exploring the event. This early access opportunity is designed to support participants of all abilities who may benefit from a lower sensory setting. The Low-Sensory Soft Launch will begin at 2:30 PM.
