Each week students will be taught the fundamentals of pickleball including forehand and backhand strokes, serving, returning the serve, etc. Students will engage in practice tasks each week to help them improve their skill abilities. His coaching blends clear fundamentals, modern technique, and personalized feedback. The 4-week clinics will identify and correct your biggest swing flaws with tailored drills, improve short game skills: chipping, pitching, and putting under pressure, course-ready consistency: building a swing you can trust, and individualized practice plans to accelerate improvement between sessions. The clinics will take place in the Linksman House at StoneWater, which features 2 trackman simulators, and 1 driving range bay to hit out of. Learn to SkateActive FunWant to learn how to roller-skate or roller-blade? The Chagrin Valley Roller Rink (CVRR) offers a program that will teach you the basics, such as: starting, stopping, gliding, striding, squatting, marching, scissors, and crosses. The last lesson is a fun time skate and a chance for students to show their families what they’ve learned. Rental skates are included. Learn to Swim Level 1: Water ExplorationLearn to Swim & DiveLEARN TO SWIM We believe every child should learn to swim. While fun and a great form of exercise, learning to swim can also keep your child safe in and around water. Following the standards of the American Red Cross, our Learn to Swim program is designed for children of all ages and abilities. Students are encouraged to move at their own pace in groups with low student to instructor ratios. Instructors will move swimmers to a different level if abilities require. Please check dates and times of classes carefully; we cannot change days/times and do not provide make-ups for missed classes. New spots are sometimes opened; if a class is full, please sign up on a waiting list and swimmers will be added to the class as space allows. Pre - registration is required; registration does not take place at the pool. Level 1: Water Exploration Ages 3 + Swimmers will practice putting their faces in the water and learn to float and swim on their own. Classes are individualized in order to encourage children to attempt new skills. To advance to the next level, swimmers must perform 10 bobs, sit dive with face in, front and back float unassisted and swim 5 feet unassisted.Winter 2026 -

While fun and a great form of exercise, learning to swim can also keep your child safe in and around water. Students are encouraged to move at their own pace in groups with low student to instructor ratios. Instructors will move swimmers to a different level if abilities require. New spots are sometimes opened; if a class is full, please sign up on a waiting list and swimmers will be added to the class as space allows. Level 2: Stroke Readiness Ages 4+ Swimmers will increase their ability to do skills on their own, thus preparing them to learn strokes. To advance to the next level, swimmers must perform a sit dive with a kick glide, beginner stroke with 5 breaths, sculling with flutter kick. Swimmers also must be able to swim out and change directions and jump in, recover and swim.Winter 2026 -

While fun and a great form of exercise, learning to swim can also keep your child safe in and around water. Swimmers will be spaced out in the lap lanes and must be confident swimming alone in deep water as the instructor will be teaching from the deck while swimmers are in the water learning strokes. Children who are not strong enough swimmers will be removed from this class. To advance to the next level, swimmers must jump into deep water with recovery, swim front and back crawl for 15 yards, elementary backstroke, dolphin kick and be able to do a squat dive.Winter 2026 -

Lifeguard Training ClassCertification / Employment TrainingThis course will certify participants in American Red Cross Lifeguarding for employment. Provides entry-level participants the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses until EMS personnel take over. To participate, students must be at least 15 years of age by the last class (proof of age required) and pass the prerequisites swim tests given on the first day (200 yard swim, treading water, & retrieval of brick). Attendance at every class is required as is access to a computer for course work outside of class. Students should bring: pen, paper, swimsuit, goggles, towel, CPR Rescue Mask, and contact case if needed. No refunds after successfully completing the pre-test. Failure of swim test on prerequisites orientation will result in a refund minus $25 fee for pre-test. Participants who successfully complete the Lifeguarding course receive an American Red Cross certificate for Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED, valid for 2 years. A minimum of 5 participants are required to run a lifeguard training class. Prerequisites: Minimum age: 15 years Complete a swim- tread-swim sequence: Jump into the water submerge resurface swim 150 yards (using the front crawl breaststroke or a combination of both) maintain position at the surface of the water for 2 minutes by treading water using only the legs then swim 50 yards using the front crawl breaststroke or a combination of both. Complete a timed event within 1 minute 40 seconds by starting in the water swimming 20 yards surface dive (feet-first or head-first) to a depth of 7 to 12 feet to retrieve a 10-pound object return to the surface and swim 20 yards on the back to return to the starting point holding the object at the surface with both hand exit the water without using a ladder or steps.Winter 2026 -
Lions Club Extended CareLions Club Extended Care is a before and after school/camp activity program for students in grades K-5th. Lions Club focuses on social and recreational activities which are designed to provide children with a choice of developmentally appropriate activities. A typical day allows for children to learn healthy social skills as well as enjoy sports, crafts and games in a safe, welcome, relaxed environment. More information regarding the program will be sent via email once contract is approved. A form of payment must be saved in your childcare account and auto pay must be active. Participants will learn the basic skills and techniques for what it takes to be an Orange Lions cheerleader. During this cheer club participants will get the opportunity to cheer at our very popular Youth Night, at an Orange High School basketball game, which will take place January 20th as well as at an OHS girls basketball game which will take place TBD. Live Figure Drawing - Monday MorningsDrawingLearn the fundamentals of figure drawing through direct observation of a live model. This course will cover timed poses ranging from quick 1–2 minute gestures to extended 20-minute studies. Students will develop their understanding of anatomy, proportion, and expressive line while working primarily in charcoal; other drawing mediums are welcome.
