Projects will draw inspiration from environmental artists like Andy Goldsworthy. Campers will also engage in outdoor exploration, gathering materials and inspiration for their projects. With plenty of hands-on activities, this camp encourages creativity, a love of nature, and an appreciation for the environment. Campers will have a week full of artmaking but will also partake in exciting activities such as gameplay, storytime, snacktime, outdoor exploration, and making new friends. Art Camps are offered in two sessions at 9:00 -11:30 am and afternoons 12:30 - 3:00 pm each week. Interested in a full-day? Sign up for both morning and afternoon sessions to receive a full day of art camp for more projects, games, and fun! Volunteer your time after school to play games, assist with homework, play outside and do fun projects with Kindergarten - 5th graders. Available afternoons M - F during the school year. Book Buddies Volunteer- For Orange High School students only. Work with our youngest preschool crew to help them learn letter sounds/names, reading comprehension, rhyming and more! Available afternoons during the school year. Broadway Buddies Volunteer- Share your love of the theatre with our "stars" in our award winning adaptive theatre program. Available year-round, various days/times. Coach- Lead our young athletes in your favorite sport/s to develop skills, confidence, and teamwork throughout a season. Recreation Specialist Assistant- Assist our talented afterschool/weekend instructors in implementing a variety of fun sports, theatre, art, academic, or recreational activities. Available afternoons and weekends during the school year. OCER Commission Member- For those interested in serving as an appointed community member that advocates, promotes and gives feedback to OCER. Available as positions become vacant- meetings are once a month in the evening, year-round. Orange Early Childhood Parent Volunteer- For families with children enrolled in Orange Early Childhood. Everything from chaperoning field trips to planning events or assisting in the classroom. Available during the school year. Orange Senior Center Volunteer- A variety of opportunities to assist the Senior Center team and engage in the community. Orange Community Swim TeamAquatics / Competitive SwimmingSwimmers: take your mark: Go! Join this fun, learning swim team for beginners and intermediate swimmers. Swimmers should be able to easily swim multiple laps with recognizable strokes to join this program. All swimmers will get instruction on stroke development and work on starts, turns, and finishes to prepare swimmers for club swim teams and/or participation on their school swim teams. The beginner group will focus on fundamentals and will mainly center on freestyle and backstroke development. Prerequisites for this group is that swimmers have participated in swim lessons and have been introduced to freestyle and backstroke. Swimmers must be able to comfortably swim one length of the pool (25 yards) in freestyle. Swimmers will continue to develop freestyle and backstroke and be introduced to breaststroke and butterfly. The intermediate group's focus will be on stroke mechanics and technique for all four strokes. Advanced stroke mechanics and drills will be introduced. Additionally, these swimmers will also be given sets and workouts to improve their endurance. Perquisites for this group is that swimmers must be able to complete 50 yards of each of the following strokes: butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, and freestyle.Winter 2026 -

Orange Rec Spring Soccer LeagueSoccerWelcome to your spring rec soccer league program. Practices are on Thursday's and led by volunteer coaches. Games will be played against neighboring communities on Saturday's. This is a great opportunity for kids to continue to learn the game and develop their soccer skills during practices as well as get the opportunity to play against other schools. Game times vary and will be released closer to the start of the season. All divisions will be broken up by genders.
