Donations for the Orange Art Center

The Orange Art Center is proud to announce the launch of the OAC Scholarship, debuting in January 2025 and made possible by a generous donation from OAC community member and participant, Steve Garfunkel. Inspired by the personhood and artistic teaching of OAC painting instructors Annie Peters and Marlene Weinstein, Garfunkel wanted to gift the OAC a donation to help establish a scholarship aiming to provide financial assistance to participants pursuing art education. Rooted in the belief that art brings healing and joy, the OAC Scholarship seeks to empower all individuals to explore their creativity and share the transformative power of art with the community! Join us in expanding this mission—your support can help bring the gift of art to even more lives, fostering inspiration, growth, and connection for all. Tax-deductible donations to the scholarship program are accepted from individuals, businesses, and community groups interested in having a direct, life-enhancing impact on a local individual.Donations are accepted by credit card and check using our easy-to-use enrollment software. We are a self sustaining theatre program that relies on individual donations and our community sponsors to meet our operating expenses. We pride ourselves on helping people of all ages embrace the journey of self-discovery through innovative programming: a variety of classes, coachings, summer camps, adaptive programs, summer stock, teen programs, and professional full-scale productions. Your contribution finances professional teaching artists, operating expenses, backdrops, publicity, props, set design, and costume maintenance & storage. With your support, we will attain new highs in quality programming, so we can continue to encourage each student to reach for the stars.
