Woodworking Made SimpleWoodworkingWoodworking Classes with Kurt Klimko Kurt is a professional woodworker with more than 30 years of experience as a craftsman, artisan, and teacher. Kurt’s woodworking classes have been featured on WVIZ’s “Applause,” Cleveland Magazine, and in The Plain Dealer. Kurt started teaching woodworking classes with Orange Rec in 1994 and the classes have continued to grow ever since. All woodworking classes take place at the Orange High School Woodshop on the rear lower level. Woodworking Made Simple Our instructor will take you through your project, step by step using the variety of woodworking tools available to you, including two lathes. You must purchase wood and supplies, no reclaimed, exotic or foreign lumber, please. For help with project details call Kurt at(216) 663-2744. Each week kids willhave the opportunity to choose from a few different options of sports that they wish to participatein. The camp day will consist of campers getting to choose their sport in the morning, wherethey will play games, learn new skills, hold competitions, swim, and organize large group gamesin the afternoon. Book Buddies Volunteer- For Orange High School students only. Work with our youngest preschool crew to help them learn letter sounds/names, reading comprehension, rhyming and more! Available afternoons during the school year. Broadway Buddies Volunteer- Share your love of the theatre with our "stars" in our award winning adaptive theatre program. Available year-round, various days/times. Coach- Lead our young athletes in your favorite sport/s to develop skills, confidence, and teamwork throughout a season. Recreation Specialist Assistant- Assist our talented afterschool/weekend instructors in implementing a variety of fun sports, theatre, art, academic, or recreational activities. Orange Senior Center Volunteer- A variety of opportunities to assist the Senior Center team and engage in the community.
