NEW! Collage Like Matisse WorkshopStudio WorkshopsHenri Matisse turned to collage in the 1940s after illness confined him to a wheelchair, and the vibrant, cut-paper works he created during that period became some of the most celebrated pieces of his career. In this workshop, we'll draw inspiration from his bold use of shape and color to create our own layered collages. You'll begin by building a background of collaged geometric shapes, then layer organic forms on top to bring your composition to life. Come with an idea or image in mind, whether that's a flower, plant, mushroom, fruit, vegetable, or any nature-inspired subject that speaks to you. All skill levels welcome.Fall 2026
