Join us for a fun day at PPLC! This inclusive program offers a calm and supportive environment staffed by paraprofessionals and adaptive recreation specialists. Children will enjoy engaging activities on site and have the opportunity to join the larger program for field trips and special events. Details about potential field trips or activities will be shared closer to the date. Please remember to pack a lunch for your child each day.

Join us for the second year of our supportive Personal Safety Class, led by local police officers and adapted for all learning levels. Building on topics introduced last year, this class will go more in depth into safety topics such as water safety, public space safety, internet safety and more. New participants are welcome — attending last year’s class is not required. Using visual aids, role-playing, and discussion, participants will build confidence and safety skills for everyday situations. Caregivers and support staff are welcome to attend. Please note that some topics may be sensitive in nature as our goal is to help participants stay physically and emotionally safe. It’s a cooking class but with a twist! We will be making Pumpkin Pizza’s. Mold the dough to create your pumpkin shape and then decorate it with all your favorite toppings. They are spooky delicious!

Come paint a pumpkin just in time for the spooky season! Display it on your porch all season long. Get ready to get creative.

At our make-your-own puzzle program participants will have the chace to design and decorate their own puzzles. You can then take your puzzle home to solve with family and friends. The perfect project for craft and puzzle lovers alike!

It is cookie season! Join us as we decorate holiday cookies using all the best toppings. You can eat your creations or package them up and give them to a loved one!
