Donut Day is celebrated in the United States and in other countries on the first Friday in June each year, succeeding the Doughnut event created by The Salvation Army in Chicago in 1938 to honor those who served doughnuts to soldiers during WWI.Drive thru the parking lot or stay and enjoy with friends a fresh donut and a cup of coffee! In this fun, hands-on class, students will explore reverse tie-dye techniques by removing color from fabric using safe bleaching methods. Participants will fold, bind, and twist their designs to create bold patterns, then add optional color accents for a custom look. This class encourages creativity while teaching basic textile design and pattern-making skills. Students should bring their own black or navy shirt, prewashed without fabric softener. While our shirt is processing, we will head over to Condado at Pinecrest for lunch. Lunch is on your own. Instructor: Jaci Davis,

The Urban Wrap Co. is a mobile kitchen that specializes in gourmet wraps, sandwiches, and salads amongst other delicious and healthier street style food options and they are coming to the Orange Senior Center.
