    This unique cooking camp will let your child travel around the world without leaving town! Get ready to celebrate the various countries by cooking and learning about some of their most popular dishes! This fun and educational cooking camp offers kids at every level the opportunity to be a chef and gain the knowledge and understanding of foods from around the world. They will also learn how to use different utensils, measure, chop, bake, cut, share ideas, and create recipes on their own. They will develop culinary techniques, create new foods, and make new friends in this delicious, hands-on cooking class!!!     Extreme Adventures (Currently in Grades 6-8) EXTREME ADVENTURES CAMP IS FOR ORANGE CITY SCHOOL RESIDENTS ONLY. We offer something different each day for our Extreme Campers to enjoy! Join your friends for an awesome summer that’s packed with field trips on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.     Wanna make video games? Love building with LEGO® bricks? This camp is for you. Learn how to create video games using Scratch, free software from MIT that you can use at home long after the class. Then, we'll bring the action to life as we build and program LEGO® mini robots. If you've taken this course before, don't worry! We explore different themes and make different games and robots each time. Parents, send a USB flash drive for your student to save projects, or create an online Scratch account for your student and send in the username and password.
