BMS Climbing Club at Shaker RocksJust for TeensJoin our climbing club after school at Shaker Rocks. All climbers welcome from very beginners to serious climbers. No matter where they are on their climbing journey, Climbing Club will help them build a good foundation. In addition to climbing skills, Climbing Club members will make new friends, learn new communication skills, and express their personalities in a whole new way. Climbing focuses on both physical and mental strength and agility. Your child will not only get stronger and more athletic, they will also become more confident! And, of course, Climbing Club is designed to be FUN! Without focusing on competition, climbers are free to develop their skills in a stress-free, supportive environment. Students will board the bus after school and be dropped off at Shaker Rocks at 3:00pm. Parents must pick their kids up from Shaker Rocks at 4:30pm. OCER will provide transportation and supervision for climbing club, however separate registration is required with Shaker Rocks for $149 for climbing. TRANSPORTATION: Students enrolled in after school classes at the Pepper Pike Learning Center are required to walk from Brady Middle School to our facility, or get dropped off by a parent. Busing is not provided. Parents must also notify BMS that their child will be attending a program at one of our facilities after school. This isn't just about lines of code—it's a hands-on journey where you'll get to design and build your very own website from scratch. Forget abstract theories; you'll be creating something you can actually see and interact with right on your screen. Get ready to unleash your creativity, master a highly sought-after skill, and transform your ideas into a tangible, digital reality. Let's build the web together! Class is taught by OHS Sophomore Nathan Miller. Nathan Miller is a Sophomore at Orange High School and has been coding for 5 years. He is looking forward to teaching these courses for the third time. He has experience with Python, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Java, Robotics, and web development. Nathan earned an Honorable Mention for the website he created for the Congressional App Challenge, and is the incoming Secretary of the award winning OHS Robotics Team. He remembers how he fell in love with programming through camps like these, and he wants to give that experience to others.Winter 2026 -
WaitlistOrange Ski ClubJust for Teens2026 Orange Ski Club is right around the corner! Together with Boston Mills, Orange Rec's ski and snowboard club provides your child with lessons and open skiing or snowboarding for beginner, intermediate and advanced skiers. Orange provides supervision and transportation to and from Boston Mills. Buses will depart from Orange by 5 pm and return by 10 pm. Whether your child has very little ski experience or is a pro, all are welcome. Your registration through OCER will only cover transportation and supervision from our advisors every week. There will be additional registration and fees to be made directly to Boston Mills as well. Boston Mills is still in the process of finalizing what 2026 Ski Club will look like, below are the options from last year. We expect this year to look similar but will certainly update all of you with any additional information as it becomes available. Your Registration through OCER will only cover transportation and supervision from our advisors every week. There will be additional registration and fees to be made directly to Boston Mills as well. We will explain all of the options below, OPTION 1: All Inclusive Package OCER: $94- Transportation and Supervision + Boston Mills: $TBD (was $335 (plus Tax) last year)- Lift Pass, Ski/Snowboard Rental/ Lessons This option will fully cover your child and you will not need anything else on your end OPTION 2: Lessons and Rentals OCER: $94- Transportation and Supervision +Boston Mills: $TBD (was $289 (plus Tax) last year)- Ski/Snowboard Rental/ Lessons With this option your child(ren) will need to have their own Epic Season pass, or lift tickets every night. OPTION 3: Lessons ONLY OCER: $94- Transportation and Supervision + Boston Mills: $TBD (was $158 (plus Tax) last year)- A 1 hour Lesson each week With this option your child(ren) will need to have their own Epic Season pass or lift tickets every night, and their own skis/snowboard. Join us this fall for our one-of-a-kind enrichment program. Created by industry professionals, fashion educators & led by current fashion university students from Kent State University. This fall we introduce our TEEN FASHION CLUB!! In this after school club we will learn all things fashion. From inspiration and styling to trends and upcycling. The club will share their love for fashion immediately following their meet up with the fashion class for grades K-2. The club is brought to you by the Future Fashion Stars staff, recent graduates and current students from the Kent State University fashion program.
