We will also look to their predecessors, including the Impressionists, Fauvists, and Surrealists, whose ideas and techniques helped lay the groundwork for their innovations. Throughout the class, each student will work from a landscape that holds personal meaning, exploring ways to interpret and reimagine it through drawing, painting, and collage.
