  • Lions Winter Indoor Soccer Skills Clinic - Boys

    Refresh your skills during the wintertime and get prepared for your upcoming soccer season with this 6-week foot skills program. We are thrilled to have our Orange Varsity soccer coaches join and to help develop our youth soccer program, it’s a great time to get connected with your future coaches. The program is indoors, so please wear indoor soccer or tennis shoes. Shin guards are optional.

    OCER Recreation Sports Leagues and Teams OCER provides elementary-aged and early middle school students with opportunities to participate in a variety of recreation-level sports. These leagues and teams are generally coached by parent volunteers with a focus on fair and equitable team participation. Athletes and parents can expect an atmosphere where everyone learns and everyone plays with moderate levels of competition. Baseball - Pony Leagues Grades 7-8 Grades 7-8 rec baseball practices will start up on the last Tuesday in April and continue on Tuesday/Thursday throughout the season. Games will begin tentatively the week of May 20 against neighboring communities. Games will last until the early weeks of July. New this season we are adding evaluations prior to the season to determine fair, competitive teams.

  • Summer Youth Cheer Clinic

    NEW! Summer Youth Cheer Clinic This is a very special opportunity for our youth cheerleaders to cheer at the OHS Varsity Football All Star Game this summer. Cheerleaders will participate in a one day clinic to prepare for the big game, before cheering at the game on the following night. This will be coached by OHS Varsity Cheer coach Stacy Dorsey and her cheer staff. Clinic will take place on: Thursday June 4th from 5:00-6:00pm Game will take place on: Friday June 5th from 6:30-8pm
  • Little Lions Baseball / Softball Clinic

    Little Lions Baseball Clinic - Ages 3-4 This is a parent-and-child program that allows parents to help their baseball player learn the fundamentals of Baseball. The 4-week clinic will focus on the basic fundamentals of baseball, throwing, catching, running, and trying to swing a bat for the first time on a tee. Bring a youth glove to the first practice. Coached by Rookie Sports.
  • Orange Lions Tackle Football Team

    Orange Tackle Rookie Tackle Football - Grades 5 & 6 The Tackle Football program will return once again to compete in the Chagrin Valley Conference Rookie Tackle Football League. The youth tackle football team competes in a 7 on 7 format that is designed to give players an opportunity to participate in the game from many different positions. In partnership with the Cleveland Browns and the Chagrin Valley Conference, our goal is to teach the game in a safe and constructive football environment. The team will be coached by a parent volunteer coach, in partnership with the Orange High School varsity program. Equipment & Uniforms provided. Equipment pass-out will begin the week of August 10th. Coaches will communicate the schedules with families as the season approaches Scholarship opportunities are available.

    OCER Recreation Sports Leagues and Teams OCER provides elementary-aged and early middle school students with opportunities to participate in a variety of recreation-level sports. These leagues and teams are generally coached by parent volunteers with a focus on fair and equitable team participation. Athletes and parents can expect an atmosphere where everyone learns and everyone plays with moderate levels of competition **Registration for spring soccer, flag football, and baseball/softball programs will open for residents on December 2nd and nonresidents on December 5th. However, all dates and details are tentative and certainly subject to change. More information will be available in the Spring Brochure arriving in March.** Fall Flag Football League Grades 5 - 6 Get ready for an action-packed 5 weeks of fun and competitive games in our Flag Football League! This program is designed for 5th and 6th graders who want to continue to learn and improve their skills in the exciting game of flag football while competing. This league will be run “in-house” with all games being against other participants signed up with us in Orange. Jerseys are provided for each player. Practices will be run by volunteer coaches and held on Tuesday evenings, time TBD. Games will be held on Sundays.

    Flag Football Leagues Grades 3 - 6 Flag Football is back for all of our future football stars here in the community!     Welcome to your Fall rec soccer league program. Practices are on Thursday's and led by volunteer coaches. Games will be played against neighboring communities on Saturday's. This is a great opportunity for kids to continue to learn the game and develop their soccer skills during practices as well as get the opportunity to play against other schools. Game times vary and will be released closer to the start of the season. All divisions will be broken up by genders.     Pee Wee Soccer Clinic & Leagues Ages 3 - 6 This program will give all soccer players a chance to learn how to play the sport of soccer with their friends through gameplay. Pee Wee Soccer Clinics and Leagues will be a combo class that have your star soccer players learning foot skills and kicking in the first half of the day and divided into teams for light-gameplay in the second half of the day.     Orange Lions Volleyball League Grades 3-6 Led by youth coach Amanda and additional parent volunteer coaches, Join us for our new summer volleyball format for 3rd-6th graders to learn skills along with teammates in a new practice format that will enhance your games. Put your practice to the test in volleyball matches against nearby communities. This season the volleyball program will be led new volleyball coaches with experience leading youth programs. This program focuses on teaching the basics offlag football—throwing, catching, running routes, and teamwork throughengaging drills and small-sided games designed specifically for younger players. Participants will learn the fundamentals while building confidence, coordination,and sportsmanship. The program blends instructional clinic-style practices with friendly in-house games to help players apply what they’ve learned in a low-pressure setting.
