In this award-winning program, students with special needs will work alongside theatre professionals, licensed staff, and experienced volunteers. Each “Star” performer will be paired with a buddy who assists with all of their activities and staging schedule for every rehearsal. Choreography will be adapted to individual needs, Performances held on the last day of class for family and friends, All abilities welcome! Enrollment limited. Prepare for iconic songs, breathtaking adventure, and pure theatrical fun that will leave you absolutelyspellbound!Participation Eligibility: Students must be enrolled in a Fall 2026 Stagecrafters class in order to be eligible to audition (private coaching is not considered aStagecrafters class). Prospective cast members must be registered prior to auditioning and must attend auditions to be cast in the show. Once cast, each parent/guardian must submit an ad including a photo & message and a brief biography (bio) for their cast member that willbe included in the playbill. FeesThe Registration Fee below includes the Participation Fee of $224 and Ad Fee of $75. An additional mandatory costume fee is required if cast. The Costume Fee is $75 and will be collected at the first rehearsal by Parent Production. Payment will be processed prior tothe first rehearsal. Optional purchases of yard signs, shirts, photos and videos will be available after the cast list has been given out. AuditionsAuditions will be held on Saturday, October 3. All students in grades 3-8 must audition in order to be considered part of the casting process. Students that are not available for mandatory. Tech Week rehearsals (beginning January 9, 2027) are discouraged to audition. Please review all commitments prior to auditioning.RehearsalsRehearsals will be on Tuesdays, Thursdays 5:30-8:30pm & Sundays from 12:30-3pm. Not every cast member will be called to every rehearsal. Once we cast the show, we will distribute rehearsal schedules that try to accommodate cast members’ conflicts as best as possible. Older cast members will typically be called to more rehearsals than younger cast members. Tech WeekTech week is the final and most intensive mandatory week of rehearsals before a musical opens to an audience. It’s when all the technicalelements of the production—lighting, sound, costumes, set changes, props, microphones, special effects, and more—are integrated withthe actors’ performances. Tech week begins Saturday, January 9, 2027. Students that are not available for ALL mandatory Tech Week rehearsals are discouraged to audition.Show Dates/TicketsPerformances are scheduled for January 15, 16 and 17, 2027. Tickets will go on sale approximately 2 weeks before the show. Cast members will receive a link to purchase tickets prior to access of the general public.
