In this invigorating course, beginner students learn basic wheel-throwing and handbuilding ceramic techniques used to create basic pottery forms such as mugs, bowls, and dishes. Experienced students can deepen their pottery knowledge and evolve their skills through various surface designs, forms, and glazing combinations using our new glazes. All supplies are provided, including 5 lbs of clay. Additional clay is available for purchase for $10 per 5 lbs, which includes glazes and OAC firing costs. Student artwork must be picked up within two weeks of the session ending. After that, unclaimed work may be discarded. No class January 19 and February 16.

In this class, young artists will let their curious minds lead them as they learn and apply clay techniques to various art projects with fun themes! Students will learn basic hand-building, glazing, and surface designs in a friendly, fun ceramic studio environment, all while nurturing fine motor skills and creative decision-making processes. Grades K-2 in the morning and grades 3-5 in the afternoons! All supplies are provided.

In this class, young artists will learn to design iconic characters that tell engaging, fun stories through group exercises, presentations, and self-directed projects. Learn how to draw characters with personalities, draw expressions, use color to communicate moods, and more! By the end of the class, students will have individual projects that encapsulate their iconic characters and character narratives. Students' final projects are self-directed to encourage characters and stories reflecting each young artist's interests, skills, and creativity. Grades 3 - 5 in the morning, teens grades 6 - 9 in the afternoon. New and returning students are welcome. All supplies provided. No class February 14.

All skill levels are welcome! If watercolor seems challenging...be afraid no more! This class will inspire and instruct. You will learn color theory and various techniques from which to build a working foundation of watercolor as well as do some fun, experimental activities. A brief lecture on a watercolor artist will expand your knowledge of art history each week. Make Watercolor Wednesday the best part of your week! Already taken this class?
