Learn to Swim Level 3: Stroke Readiness
LEARN TO SWIM We believe every child should learn to swim. While fun and a great form of exercise, learning to swim can also keep your child safe in and around water. Following the standards of the American Red Cross, our Learn to Swim program is designed for children of all ages and abilities. Students are encouraged to move at their own pace in groups with low student to instructor ratios. Instructors will move swimmers to a different level if abilities require. Please check dates and times of classes carefully; we cannot change days/times and do not provide make -ups for missed classes. New spots are sometimes opened; if a class is full, please sign up on a waiting list and swimmers will be added to the class as space allows. Pre - registration is required; registration does not take place at the pool. Level 3: Stroke Readiness Ages 5 + Swimmers swim in deep water and learn strokes. Swimmers will be spaced out in the lap lanes and must be confident swimming alone in deep water as the instructor will be teaching from the deck while swimmers are in the water learning strokes. Children who are not strong enough swimmers will be removed from this class. To advance to the next level, swimmers must jump into deep water with recovery, swim front and back crawl for 15 yards, elementary backstroke, dolphin kick and be able to do a squat dive. -
Indoor Lap Swim
Lap Swim Information: Schedule is subject to change and 3 lanes will be open for lap swim only. Lap swimming is a structured swim time performed within designated lanes in a pool, where swimmers swim continuously back and forth across the length of the pool. Swimmers may arrive 5 minutes before their scheduled time and must leave 5 minutes after their scheduled time has ended. Locker rooms are open for changing. Please only use the ADA bathrooms if you have mobility issues that make it difficult to use the locker rooms. No cash payments will be taken at the pool. Lifeguards will remove weak/non-swimmers from the pool to maintain safe aquatic environments. Additional rules apply; please see posted rules at the facility. Lifeguards are present for your safety; please follow instructions given by lifeguards quickly. -
Orange Master's Swim Team
Orange Master swim team is open to adults (18+) who are interested in swimming competitively, are training for triathlons, or just want to work out with friends. This program has varying levels of workouts with a coach on deck to help with strokes and practice sets. Practices are twice a week and Saturday mornings. May's schedule is from May 2 - May 28 on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:30 - 8:30 pm and Saturdays from 7:00 - 8:00 am. Practices on the week of May 25 are adjusted to Tuesday, May 26 and Thursday, May 28 from 7:30 - 8:30 pm. No practice on Saturday, May 30. Note: practices are scheduled to change. -
Orange Outdoor Pool Pass
Buy an Outdoor pool pass. Our discounted pool passes are a great way for frequent swimmers to swim and save! Passes may be used for admission during any open swim session at the Outdoor Pool from May 30-31 and June 5 - August 16. Orange School District residents should bring proof of residency to receive the resident rate. The governess pass is only permitted to be used for a babysitter over 16 years old. Governess must be accompanied by the resident child(s) to gain access to the pool. The governess membership does not have guest privileges and can only be used by one person at a time. A governess pass needs to be purchased by one of the adult's of the family to connect the governess pass to that family. Children ages 2 and younger are admitted for free when accompanied by a paying adult. Outdoor pool passes are nonrefundable and nontransferable. r. 03-02-2026 -

Pre - registration is required; registration does not take place at the pool. Pre-level 1: Parent Play Ages 1-4 A fun time for parents to go in the water with children! One child per parent, please. If a child is not toilet trained, then swim diapers MUST be worn. This class offers water adjustment skills using toys, games and songs. To advance to the next level, swimmers must be 3 years of age, comfortable in the water and able to go in the water with assistance. -

Level 1: Water Exploration Ages 3 + Swimmers will practice putting their faces in the water and learn to float and swim on their own. Classes are individualized in order to encourage children to attempt new skills. To advance to the next level, swimmers must perform 10 bobs, sit dive with face in, front and back float unassisted and swim 5 feet unassisted. -
Learn to Swim Level 2: Stroke Readiness
LEARN TO SWIM We believe every child should learn to swim. While fun and a great form of exercise, learning to swim can also keep your child safe in and around water. Following the standards of the American Red Cross, our Learn to Swim program is designed for children of all ages and abilities. Students are encouraged to move at their own pace in groups with low student to instructor ratios. Instructors will move swimmers to a different level if abilities require. Level 2: Stroke Readiness Ages 4+ Swimmers will increase their ability to do skills on their own, thus preparing them to learn strokes. To advance to the next level, swimmers must perform a sit dive with a kick glide, beginner stroke with 5 breaths, sculling with flutter kick. Swimmers also must be able to swim out and change directions and jump in, recover and swim. -
Learn to Swim Level 4: Stroke Development
LEARN TO SWIM We believe every child should learn to swim. While fun and a great form of exercise, learning to swim can also keep your child safe in and around water. Following the standards of the American Red Cross, our Learn to Swim program is designed for children of all ages and abilities. Students are encouraged to move at their own pace in groups with low student to instructor ratios. Instructors will move swimmers to a different level if abilities require. Level 4: Stroke Development Ages 6 + Swimmers begin swimming laps of the pool, improving strokes learned in level 3 and learn new strokes. To advance to the next level, swimmers must swim freestyle, backstroke, elementary backstroke, butterfly, and breaststroke for 25 yards and be able to do a standing dive. -
Adult Learn to Swim
This program is for those who have little to no swimming ability. Here we will conquer any fear of the water with our small class size that will provide ample time to practice. We will encourage learning at an individual pace and focus on floating, swimming on front and back and treading water. -

Adaptive Group Swim Lesson Class

Adaptive Group Swim Lesson Class Ages: 5-12 This program is small group swim lessons for children with diverse abilities and classes are individualized to the needs of the participants for them to become comfortable and safe in the water. Classes are limited to 2 participants and it is for beginner and intermediate participants learning to swim and water safety. Swimmers will practice putting their faces in the water and learn to float and swim on their own. Children will attempt new skills. -
Splash Parties
Splash parties are offered during open swim time with the public from 12 - 3 pm on Saturdays and Sundays and include the reservation of four picnic tables under the pavilion. The reservation fee for four picnic tables is $48 for residents and $60 for nonresidents. All party guests entering the facility are required to pay daily admission fees. The pool is kid-friendly and includes a zero-depth water entrance and water play features. Hosts are welcome to bring their own food, snacks, and nonalcoholic beverages. Reservations and full payment must be made at least 2 weeks in advance. Splash parties will be cancelled in inclement weather and rescheduled if possible, or fully refunded. Pool rules must be observed by all guests. Party hosts are responsible for their guests' admission fees and the cleanup of the pavilion. All guests entering the facility are required to pay the daily admission fee for the Outdoor Pool. Max number of guests are 30. Resident Adult Ages: 19 - 54 $ 10 Resident Senior Ages: 55+ $ 8 Resident Student Ages: 3 - 18 $ 8 Nonresident Ages: 3+ $ 15 Party Hosts are responsible for their guests' admission fees and clean up of the pavilion. Additional $50 fee will be charged if the pavilion is not cleaned up at the end of the reservation.
