NEW! Art Explorers: Ceramics - Thursdays After School (Grades 3-5, 8 Weeks)Young ArtistsNew at the OAC: Art Explorers: Ceramics is now available as a Thursday option for Grades 3–5. Young artists will explore clay through handbuilding, surface design, and glazing techniques to create original ceramic pieces. This ceramics-focused day offers expanded opportunities for clay work within our established Art Explorers program, while still providing group and individual instruction. All supplies included. Grades K–2 meet Mondays and Tuesdays; Grades 3–5 meet Wednesdays (Art Explorers) and Thursdays (Art Explorers – Ceramics). Resident students will be chaperoned and shuttled from Moreland Hills Elementary to the Art Center. Student artwork must be picked up within two weeks of the session ending. Each day brings a brand-new painting style to explore, helping artists build confidence, creativity, and painting skills. Put on your smock, it's time to make a masterpiece! Campers will have a week full of artmaking but will also partake in exciting activities such as gameplay, storytime, snacktime, outdoor exploration, and making new friends. Art Camps are offered in two sessions at 9:00 -11:30 am and afternoons 12:30 - 3:00 pm each week. Interested in a full-day?
