Captivating Kingdoms Art Camp Grades 3 - 5Art CampsWeek 5: Step into a land of knights, princesses, and mythical creatures with this returning OAC camp favorite (with new projects)! This enchanting camp takes young artists on a journey through famous tales and heroic adventures. Campers will create magical art inspired by legendary kingdoms! Daily activities include playful storytelling and imaginative role-play to deepen their connection to the stories they love. With each project, kids will develop their creativity and artistic skills, all while building their very own captivating kingdom! Campers will have a week full of artmaking but will also partake in exciting activities such as gameplay, storytime, snacktime, outdoor exploration, and making new friends. Cardio Core & BalanceExercise, Fitness & DanceA new twist to Cardio & Core, this intermediate to advanced level class is for those who are looking for a more intense workout. This class is done in circuit training style rotating cardio conditioning and strength training for a maximum work out. Both standing and floor exercises are included in this class. Equipment is provided and you can bring your own weights for even more of a workout! There are no prerequisites for this class; however please note this class requires you to be able to get down to the floor and back to standing, with assistance if needed. Cartooning + Character Design - Saturday Afternoons (6-9)Young ArtistsWe are back! The fun of cartooning and character design is all wrapped into one! In this class, young artists will learn to design iconic characters that tell engaging, fun stories through group exercises, presentations, and self-directed projects. Learn how to draw characters with personalities, draw expressions, use color to communicate moods, and more! By the end of the class, students will have individual projects that encapsulate their iconic characters and character narratives. Students' final projects are self-directed to encourage characters and stories reflecting each young artist's interests, skills, and creativity. Grades 3 - 5 in the morning, teens grades 6 - 9 in the afternoon. New and returning students are welcome. All supplies provided.Spring/Summer 2026
