Medicare Options for You: One-on-one counseling sessions
Questions about your Medicare options? You’re not alone! Meet with a representative from the Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program (OSHIIP) to discuss your Medicare benefits and options and get the answers you need. OSHIIP is the lead Medicare educational office in our state providing unbiased information. (They do not sell insurance.) They can be particularly helpful to those who are just getting ready to retire, or who might want to consider changing their Medicare coverage. Representatives will be on hand for forty-five minute individual counseling sessions. Free service but you MUST pre-register for individual counseling. Call the Senior Center for the schedule. Bring your monthly kit and complete your cards with the guidance of Jaci Davis who’s there to help every step of the way. Strength & Balance
Take the basic Strength and Balance class to begin your journey to better movement. Combining both standing and sitting movements, we work to improve overall strength and basic balance training using light weights, bands, and various exercise balls. All exercises can be modified to each individual’s needs and capabilities. Bring your own weights – all other equipment will be provided. Instructor: Mondays: Patti Ellins Wednesdays: Carolyn Miller. Cardio Core & Balance
A new twist to Cardio & Core, this intermediate to advanced level class is for those who are looking for a more intense workout. This class is done in circuit training style rotating cardio conditioning and strength training for a maximum work out. Both standing and floor exercises are included in this class. Equipment is provided and you can bring your own weights for even more of a workout! There are no prerequisites for this class; however please note this class requires you to be able to get down to the floor and back to standing, with assistance if needed. No class Monday May 25. -

Drawing & Painting Studio
Join this helpful interactive art class & work on your own project. Students select their own projects and work individually, as the instructor is out of town during the winter months.All skill levels welcomed. -
Beginner Line Dancing
Learn the basics of line dancing. Practice familiar dances such as Macarena and Electric Slide as well as learn new dances from various genres. Movement modifications will be offered as needed. Wear comfortable clothing and supportive shoes (no flip flops, sandals, crocs or high heels). Bring a water bottle. -
High Beginner Line Dancing
Come with an understanding of line dancing. Move beyond the basics to learn dances in various genres that incorporate more complex choreography with increased tempo and rhythm. Wear comfortable clothing and supportive shoes (no flip flops, sandals, crocs or high heels). Bring a water bottle. -
Gentle Yoga
A classic hatha yoga class in an accessible, supportive and beginner-friendly environment! Some floor exercises are done in this class. This class emphasizes creating a solid foundation for yoga asana practice and establishing mindful awareness of the breath and body. No experience necessary. Bring a yoga mat and dress comfortably. -
Brain Body & Balance Yoga
Never tried a yoga class? Do you have balance or mobility concerns? Have you had a joint replacement or surgery? No problem. This is the class for you! This fun compassionate class is customized for all ages and all abilities. Chair, standing, and wall poses are used—no need to get on the floor! The focus will be on improving your balance, flexibility and strength. -
Tai Chi
Tai chi is an art embracing the mind, body, and spirit. It is one of the most effective exercises for health and well-being. Although tai chi is an art of great depth of knowledge and skill, it can be easy to learn and soon delivers its health benefits. It is a lifelong journey for many participants. Tai Chi for Health programs bring reduced stress, improved balance and flexibility, and greater focus to its participants. The forms and movements can be done seated or standing. No class April 30. -
Intermediate Tai Chi
Tai Chi is a holistic practice that connects the mind, body, and spirit, making it one of the most effective exercises for overall health and well-being. While it offers a deep understanding and skill set, Tai Chi is accessible and easy to learn, providing noticeable health benefits in a short amount of time. It is a lifelong journey for many practitioners, helping to reduce stress, improve balance and flexibility, and enhance focus. This intermediate-level class will guide you through forms and movements that can be done both seated or standing. No class April 30. -
Cardio Drumming
Cardio drumming is a dynamic cardiovascular workout that combines drumming, rhythm, and music. Participants typically use drumsticks to hit an exercise ball placed on a bucket, following the rhythm of the music. The exercise can also incorporate dance moves and steps, enhancing the overall experience. No Class May 29 & June 19. -
Strength & Weights
Throughout this course the focus will be on using resistance to gain muscle mass and increase bone density, and reduce injury risks. This course can be done at any intensity. Modifications can be provided by the instructor. Must pre-register. No Class May 29 & June 19.
